Tonight’s live scores: Paro vs. Hitchins

Richardson Hitchins will look to dethrone IBF light heavyweight champion Liam Parro tonight in their 12-round main event on neutral territory at Coliseo Roberto Clemente, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

This is Hitchins’ coming out game, and he looks to transform himself into a star with an impressive win over Paro (25-0, 15 KOs). The event will be displayed live on DAZN at 7:00 PM ET. Many fans feel that Paro is too sharp for Hitchins, who looked uncomfortable in his last fight when he was pressured by Gustavo Lemos.

Fight updates and results will be shown below.

Hitchins: A star in the making?

Richardson has the charisma and amateur pedigree to be a star in the light heavyweight division. We don’t know if it’s strong enough. Hitchins will show tonight if he has the guts to take on a fighter, Parr, who throws the rule book out the window when he fights.

The undercard is heavy on prospects, not with guys on the cusp of a world title, but it’s understandable why Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn decided to run these fights. The event is in San Juan, Puerto Rico, so he chose fights that would resonate with the public rather than ones that off-island fans would be interested in watching.

The preliminary card begins at 3:30 PM ET Below
