HOLYOKE— Springfield Police Capt. Brian Keenan has been selected by Mayor Joshua A. Garcia to become Holyoke’s new police chief.
Although Keenan jokingly told Garcia he could start as soon as Friday, the position is contingent on successful contract negotiations, the mayor said.
