FRANK WARREN is currently eyeing just one rematch against Tyson Fury.
On December 21, the ‘Gypsy King’ returns to Riyadh seven months after suffering his first defeat. On May 18, Fury, 34-1-1 (24 KOs), lost his chance to become the undisputed heavyweight champion after being split by Oleksandr Usyk, 22-0 (14 KOs).
However, boxing’s biggest power broker Turki Alalshik is already looking ahead to next year for Fury. Speaking on Ariel & Ade’s show on DAZN this week Alalshikh revealed that he would like to have another rematch for Fury against another Ukrainian – Vladimir Klitschko. It all depends on what happens on December 21st.
If the cards are kind to everyone involved, then Fury-Klitschko 2 would arrive almost 10 years after their first fight. Back on November 28, 2015 in Dusseldorf, Fury shocked the world by defeating the dominant champion on points.
Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren gave his thoughts on the matter when he spoke to him Boxing News yesterday.

“I haven’t discussed it and Tyson is only focused on that fight right now. But we spoke to (Wladimir) a few times when we were in Saudi Arabia, especially the last time and he showed that he wants to come back and fight. He’s not one of those guys who stopped boxing and got out of shape, he’s in great shape.
“Look at George Foreman years ago who got out of shape and came back and won the world title. Who knows, sometimes things happen. I’m not a big fan of old guys coming back to the sport, I’ve made that clear, but let’s see what happens. All we have to do at this point is focus on this great fight of the 21stst because that’s what it’s about.”
Foreman became the oldest heavyweight champion in history at age 45 when he knocked out Michael Moorer in November 1994. Next March, Klitschko, 64-5 (53 KOs), will turn 49 and could be in camp for his first fight in eight years if Alalshih manages.
