The National Weather Service issued an advisory at 8:23 a.m. Thursday for snow until 10 a.m. for Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.
“Light to moderate snow is currently falling in parts of central and northern Rhode Island and in Norfolk and northern parts of Bristol and Plymouth counties in Massachusetts. This snow may cause difficult travel due to poor visibility. Snow may accumulate -up to two inches on grass surfaces, with slushy coatings of snow on pavement surfaces before the snow moves inland by 10 a.m. this morning, the weather service said.
