The National Weather Service issued an updated report at 6:36 a.m. Thursday for snow showers through 7 a.m. for Berkshire County.
“At 6:34 a.m., heavy snow was near Housatonic, or 7 miles north of Great Barrington moving northeast at 55 MPH,” the weather service says.
Snow showers expected in Pittsfield, Lee and Lenox around 6:40am
