SPRINGFIELD — Chestnut Talented and Gifted Middle School has been labeled “distinguished,” one of only two schools in Massachusetts to receive the distinction.
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Acting Commissioner Russell Johnston will be in town Friday to help celebrate the school’s citation as a National Elementary and Secondary Education Act Distinguished School.
