On December 7, boxing fans are in for a treat as Richardson Hitchins takes on IBF super lightweight champion Liam Parr. To boost the event, Matchroom dropped a new episode of “Make The Dais Count,” giving us a behind-the-scenes look at how both fighters prepare for this showdown. The main card and broadcast will begin at 7:00 PM ET live on DAZN.
Hitchins is coming off a tough decision win against Gustavo Lemos, which some critics say exposed his vulnerabilities. But Hitchins sees it differently. “I feel like my last fight with Gustavo Lemos brought something out of me,” he explains. “I drew blood after the fight… it was a tough fight.” You will have to kill me to stop me.”
On the other hand, Paro is ready to test Hitchins’ resolve. He is convinced that Hitchins has a tendency to give up that lurks beneath the surface. “We heard many times that he gave up,” says Paro confidently. “Once a quitter, always a quitter, so I’m definitely going to test it out.”
