British Airways Has Just Unveiled Some Seriously Sleek First Class Seats


While settling into the luxurious new seats, British Airways customers can enjoy all the existing amenities of First Class, including access to free Wi-Fi, Sleek. Airport lounges Worldwide, incl London Heathrowof Concorde Lounge, and a fine dining experience with champagne and wine lists.

British Airways Chief Customer Officer, Callum Lamming, said: “We are incredibly proud to launch the next era of First, pushing the boundaries of convenience, luxury and modernity, while meeting customer preferences and expectations.

Storage in the new first class seats is ample, with storage ottomans and built-ins providing much-needed carry-on space.

“This, combined with our incredible colleagues who deliver world-class service following the launch of our First Service Specialist scheme, as well as the many benefits of Flying First, such as first row entry, access to our award-winning lounges including our Concorde Room, and priority boarding, means we truly believe We do that by offering a winning combination to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.”

To create the product, British Airways called on some of the UK’s most famous creators. London-based Tangerine Design Consultancy worked with the airline to develop the initial concept Northern Ireland’s Collins Aerospace to bring it to life, from color palettes to material specifications.

Based in Glasgow Having worked on the QE2 and Orient Express seats in recent years, Muirhead sourced the finest Scottish leather for the new seats. Every element of production is considered down to the last detail, the Lancashire-based Aman Group called for their high-quality sewing and embroidery threads.
